The History of Rawdhah Academy

The founding premises were located on Essex Road. From 2009-2012, all classes and activities were conducted based in this location.

The burgeoning success of Rawdhah Academy required the Trustees of the Academy to look for premises, due to a lack of space the Trustees of the Academy decided to look for premises to facilitate the expanding activities of Rawdhah Academy. On 7th July 2012 Brae House, Cameron Road was purchased for a total of £325,000.00 through donations and Interest free loans.

Due to planning for this property being rejected the property was sold in 2015 for the sum of £450,000.00 and the outstanding Qardh-e-Hasanah (Interest free loans) amounting to £215,000.00 was cleared.

Through the shear grace of Allah Ta’ala within a month the current premises (Mencap Building) was purchased in July 2015 for £165,000.00.
